Our goal is to provide your child with high quality care in a safe and stimulating environment.

We provide care for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years, Monday through Friday, 7 am to 6 pm.

We will strive to meet your child’s physical, emotional, social, and cognitive needs through careful nurturing and appropriate activities.

While providing a loving and caring atmosphere, as Christians, we recognize it is our responsibility to instill in those committed to our care, a sense of self-worth and self-discipline. We are commissioned by Christ to care for children in His name.

We encourage parent participation in our program and promote a supportive relationship between parents and staff.

The Ark Early Learning Center does not discriminate against children or families on the basis of race, creed, color, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, citizenship status, veteran or military status, status as a breastfeeding mother, disability, the use of a trained guide dog or service animal or any class of persons protected by law.

As a ministry of Cross of Christ Lutheran Church, a non-profit organization, The Ark will strive to provide affordable, high quality care.

Our center operates with a Director who has formal training in early childhood education. There is a Management Committee along with the Church Council that oversees the financial and overall responsibility of The ARK. The committee is made up of 7 to 9 volunteers that come from The ARK parents and the Cross of Christ congregation.

As a ministry of the church, The Ark provides financial assistance through a scholarship fund to help those with financial needs.

A monthly tour is given to all who are interested in learning more about The Ark. About an hour is set aside (from 10am to 11am) the second Wednesday of each month to show parents our facility. If a space is available, private tours may be scheduled with the Director.
